/u/MOABchoochoo on What's your idea of a good border policy?

To have a good immigration policy, much like any other security policy, you have to have a multi point approach to be successful. We do need a wall with patrols and technology to stop people from crossing. We also need more people seeing who overstayed visas and rounding them up. We need harsher punishments for employers who hire these people as well as rewards for turn ins that lead to arrests for these companies and the rewards could come out of the fine money so it does not cost the government more money. We also need to not allow their children to attend our schools. Remove every kind of benefit that the risk of coming here illegally grants and they wont come. With barely any people sneaking in, we can focus more on getting the ones that are here back to where they came from. We can then increase our number of legal immigrants we can take and not have the illegals mess it up for themfrom /u/MOABchoochoo on What's your idea of a good border policy? via /r/DebateRightists https://ift.tt/2HOe6Ed
