The Committee shall now vote on G.S. 027.AN ACT TO AMEND THE DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE MINISTER FOR LABOUR AND FINANCEWhereas There is currently no minister who is charged with the furtherance of science and research,Whereas The Minister for Labour and Finance has fewer duties than other MinistersBe it enacted by the Senate of the Galactic Republic herein assembled:Section I - Short Title(a) This act shall be referred to as the "Head of Science and Research Act"**Section II** - Amendment to Title II(a) Amend 2 G.R. §12. to read "Under the authority of the Chancellor, there shall be created a Ministry for Labor, Finance, Science and Research headed by a Senator of the Chancellor's choosing."(a) Amend 2 G.R. §13. to read "The head of the Ministry for Labor, Finance, Science and Research shall be known as the Minister for Labor, Finance, Science and Research (hereinafter "The Minister")."(c) Under 2 G.R. §17., add a new section and renumber all further sections accordingly to compensate.(1) §18.
